Play Addiction Solitaire Online for Free
Addiction Solitaire is a puzzle-style card game where you sort a full table of cards by moving them into gaps. Every card is face up from the start, so each game is a test of planning. It belongs to the same family as Gaps and Montana solitaire. Play Addiction Solitaire free at Solitaire.com, with no downloads or sign-up.
Addiction Solitaire Overview and Objective
The goal is to arrange four rows, one per suit, running from 2 on the left to King on the right. When every row is in order, you win.

Addiction Solitaire Setup and Layout
All 52 cards are dealt face up into four rows of 13. The four Aces are then removed, which leaves four gaps on the table.
How to Play Addiction Solitaire
- Fill a gap with the card one rank higher, in the same suit, than the card on its left. A gap to the right of the 6 of Spades takes the 7 of Spades.
- A gap in the first column takes any 2.
- A gap to the right of a King cannot be filled.
- When no moves are left, you can reshuffle. The cards already in order from the left stay in place. The rest are shuffled and dealt again, with four new gaps. You get two reshuffles per game.
Addiction Solitaire Strategy Tips
Look at every gap before you move, because filling one gap opens another. Avoid stranding a gap next to a King, since that gap is dead until you reshuffle. Start each row with the 2 whose run you can extend the furthest. Save your reshuffles until you have no moves left.
