Double Klondike Overview and Objective
The goal is to move all 104 cards to the eight foundations. Each deck gives you one foundation per suit, and every foundation builds up in suit from Ace to King.
Double Klondike Setup and Layout
The cards are dealt into nine tableau columns. The first column holds one card, the second holds two, and so on up to nine cards in the last column. Only the top card of each column is face up. The remaining 59 cards form the stock pile.

How to Play Double Klondike
- Build tableau columns down in alternating colors, such as a red 8 on a black 9.
- Move a face-up run of cards together when its top card fits the target column.
- Fill an empty column with a King or a run that starts with a King.
- Draw one card at a time from the stock pile to the waste pile. When the stock runs out, turn the waste over and go through it again. There is no limit on passes.
Double Klondike Strategy Tips
Flip face-down cards first, starting with the tallest columns on the right, since they hide the most cards. With two of every card in play, you often have two places to move a card. Choose the move that uncovers a hidden card. Keep an empty column until a King can use it.
